Fall Detection Subscription

Fall detection enables your WellBe® Medical Alert Device to automatically place a call for help when a hard fall is detected. Fall detection is available on the WellBe Medical Alert Device for an additional monthly fee. Fall Detection, if included in your medical alert subscription, can sometimes activate during non-falls, and does not always detect 100% of falls. If the user is able, they should always press the help button on the device in the event of an emergency. More Info.

Companion App – The WellBe Virtual Assistant app has a user-friendly interface that keeps you connected to your healthcare information and WellBe at all times, even when out of the house.

Remote Registration – Set up and register WellBe from anywhere using our Universal Registration feature. WellBe can even be connected to WiFi remotely.

How it Works:

Fall detection is designed to detect when a hard fall occurs. A hard fall is any sudden downward movement unique in speed and distance. Detecting only hard falls limits the number of false alarms and provides a better user experience. When a hard fall is detected your WellBe Medical Alert Device will automatically initiate a call for help and connect you with emergency services without the need to press a button.

Fall Detection, if included in your medical alert subscription, can sometimes activate during non-falls, and does not always detect 100% of falls. If the user is able, they should always press the help button on the device in the event of an emergency.

AUTO-RENEWING SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

Use of HandsFree Health devices requires a paid auto-renewing subscription. Your subscription will be automatically renewed each month unless you cancel your subscription at least 72 hours before the next automatic payment. By placing this order, you authorize HandsFree Health (without additional notice to you) to charge and collect the fee amount specified during your original order and any applicable taxes (e.g., sales, service, property, use, and local taxes) using the payment method provided by you. The subscription fee is subject to change in our sole discretion effective as of the first day of any Renewal Term. HandsFree Health may terminate this Agreement for non-payment of the Fee and recover all payments due to HandsFree Health.

You can cancel your subscription by logging into the shop.handsfreehealth.com site using the username and password you created when purchasing the devices. 

By accepting this Informed Consent, you agree to the following:

  1. You agree you will be charged for the hardware plus an auto-renewing monthly subscription in the amount specified in your order and any applicable taxes.

  2. The credit card provided at the time of order will be charged automatically each month without additional notice to you, unless you cancel 72 hours before the next automatic payment.
